Updates on Baby Girl!

Visited the doc yesterday... all is well (at least according to him) and baby is doing great. The due date is now set for the week of May 5 if she doesn't show before then! The plan is to schedule a time to be induced at my May 1 appointment. I am very happy about this as I really didn't want a Mother's Day baby and as far as I'm concerned, the sooner, the better!

Above is the LAST picture you will see of me all big and pregnant. Lord, it looks like I'm toting a basketball under my shirt. It was taken at Cannon Beach last weekend where we went for 4 days with our friends from Idaho for a Spring Break getaway. Needless to day, there wasn't much Spring about it. We saw hail, rain, wind and even some snow. Crazy crazy stuff, but still a very enjoyable time with friends and family.

I have officially entered what I refer to as the "Homer Simpson" stage. I burp, fart and moan uncontrollably and none of my shirts actually cover my entire belly...exposing the area between the bottom of the shirt and the top of my pants. NOT an attractive look for anyone - let alone an 8 1/2 month pregnant lady. No one needs to see that....

We will keep you all updated on the progress of our little one and when she enters the world. Expect an email, text or phone call...depending on how much we like you. :) Just kidding... Rick will be making every effort to let everyone know as soon as we do.
