Finally...

I know.. I know.. it's been a long time since the last update... it's been a busy summer and I can hardly believe it's almost over! We've been a busy busy Woidyla family...

Andee and Isaac have had a wonderful summer (as usual), p
rowling the city with their favorite nanny Joslin. They visited the zoo (Lucy's first trip!), hit the library and swam more than is legal in most states. They also kept very busy with camps. Isaac went to science camp, tennis camp and church day camp. Rick and Isaac also went to CubWorld overnight camp for 3 days. They had an awesome time.. Isaac learned to shoot a BB Gun, a bow and arrow and a slingshot. He also rode the dragon's tongue (a long waterslide).
Andee went to junior high camp in Whidbey Island, church camp at Tillikum and participated in a week-long play here in Sherwood called "Rumplestiltskin". It was really cool. They had try-outs on Monday, practice Tues-Friday all day and the play took place on Saturday. She was exhausted, but had a blast. Add to that Mon/Wed soccer practice and Tue/Thurs riding lessons and you have one very busy girl. I don't know how we're going to fit school in! :)

Rick has also been keeping busy with his new job, coaching Isaac's U9 soccer team, coaching Andee's U12 Select team and being daddy to the new girl in his life... he's still trying to g
et the hang of it.
Lucy is great. She just rolls with the family and is at her best when she is surrounded by chaos. She sleeps from 10pm to 8:30am every night (a true Woidyla) and is growing like crazy. She still hasn't decided on an eye color and her hair is currently a shade of red. Despite all this, she is still a great mix of Andee and Isaac. She has started talking and laughing and smiles at anyone that will give her a smile in return. She truly is a blessing to our family.
Rick bought Lucy at bike trailer and we took her for her first bike ride not too long ago. She was transfixed the entire time! She gripped the seatbelt with her little hands and rode in silence the entire time. Only voicing her displeasure when Rick stopped moving..

At the insistence of her daddy, Little Boo got a jumpie activity center this past weekend. Needless to say, she's not tall enough to touch the ground on it, sit up in it, or even play with any of the toys on it. However, she can take one HECK of a nap in it!

As for me, the Air Show has finally come to an end and I am making an attempt to get my life back in order again. My boss at the Air Show was kind enough to let me bring Lucy to work with me every day for the first 6 weeks. She was great... taking long naps and smiling enough to make everyone forget when she cried (that's Lucy, not the boss). It was great having my little girl with me....

Being in Hillsboro gave Nana and Papa many opportunities to come by and see us at the office for lunch.
